Attorney Charlene Glover-Hogan

A county public administrator serves in a position of trust to assist the State Public Administrator in the administration of the estates of deceased persons without wills and with no known heirs. As such, the conduct as a fiduciary for the State of Michigan should meet the highest standards.

 

Ms. Charlene Glover- Hogan  has more than two decades of experience in probate law. She is a member of the Wayne County Probate Bar Association, where she previously served on the Board Of Directors, as the Secretary and Treasurer and co-chair of the Adopt A Child program. She is also a member of the Probate Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan and on the Board of Directors of the Black United Fund of Michigan. 

 

Ms. Glover-Hogan earned her Juris Doctorate at Howard University School of Law in 1986. Ms. Glover Hogan began her career as a Judicical Assistant at Detroit Recorders Court before working as a Law Clerk at the law fim of Bell & Gardner. While at Bell & Gardner, Ms. Glover Hogan gained valuable experience in legal research and writing as she supplemented the firm's legal practice in various areas.  

 

Following her tenure at Bell & Gardner, Ms. Glover-

Hogan joined the law firm of O'Neal O. Wright & Associates. As a general practice attorney, Ms. Glover-Hogan worked with the law firm of O'neal Wright & Associates, as an associate in the firm's criminal law, personal Injury and domestic practice. Ms. Glover Hogan represented clients in the Juvenile Court and Circuit Court  negotiating reduced sentences, plea bargains, and personal injury settlements. 

Shortly after her time at O'Neal O. Wright & Associates, Ms. Glover-Hogan started her private practice, focusing on probate law. Ms.Glover-Hogan has practiced for 25 years within Oakland, Wayne and Macomb counties. Ms.Glover-Hogan has earned a reputation for guiding clients through the legal process as smoothly as possible with concise and comprehensive communication. As a well trained and experienced litigator, Ms.Glover-Hogan approaches the complex legal needs of her clients from a results driven perspective. Ms.Glover-Hogan recognizes the difficult and emotional situations that arise when dealing with the death of a family member.
